Amin Riyah - 1 Wind IPP

Developed by OQ Alternative Energy (OQAE) and TotalEnergies, Riyah 1 forms part of the 222 MW Riyah 1 & Riyah 2 Wind IPP development. Riyah 1 is located in the Wilayat of Shaleem wa Juzor Al Hallaniyat, Governorate of Dhofar.

The project will supply renewable electricity to PDO’s network, contributing to decarbonisation and energy transition objectives while diversifying the power supply mix.

Project Status: Execution

Environmental Resources Management (ERM), in partnership with Five Oceans Environmental Services LLC (5OES), an Omani-registered company, has been appointed by the developers to prepare an International Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA B) report aligned with international standards.
