Marsa Solar Project

OQ Alternative Energy LLC (OQAE) and TotalEnergies plan to develop the proposed Marsa Solar PV Project, located near Haima in the Governorate of Al Wusta, Sultanate of Oman. The project will have a generation capacity of 280 MWac and will supply renewable electricity to the Marsa LNG plant.

HMR Environmental Engineering Consultants has been appointed by the developers to prepare the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the project in accordance with applicable Omani regulations and international standards.
