Amines are derived from ammonia. Our Amines are used in a variety of agrochemicals and biocides. They find broad application in rubber processing chemicals, in lubricant additives, corrosion inhibitors, surfactants or dye intermediates and many others.
They are characterised by one or more hydrogen atoms of ammonia having been replaced by a substituent such as an alkyl. OQ is a leading manufacturer of mono-iso-propylamine (MIPA) and a well-recognised supplier of higher alkylamines.
Common applications are: agrochemicals, rubber chemicals, polymer additives, pharmaceuticals, surfactants, dye intermediates, specialty chemicals, and corrosion inhibitors.
