OQ Invests 3 million OMR in Diverse Projects, Enhancing Service, Urban, and Tourism

H.E. Sayyid Ibrahim Bin Said Al-Busaidi, Governor of Musandam, presided over the induction ceremony showcasing OQ's impactful social investment projects in Musandam Governorate. Distinguished attendees included local officials, esteemed State Council members, Shura Council representatives, and key OQ Group personnel.

During the event, H.E. Sayyid Ibrahim familiarised himself with OQ's completed and ongoing social investment projects, aimed at fostering community development across the governorate's wilayats. Notably, OQ has successfully executed projects valued at approximately three million Omani Riyals, reaffirming its corporate commitment to social responsibility and community enhancement.

In his address, H.E. Sayyid Ibrahim Bin Said Al-Busaidi praised OQ's contributions, highlighting their alignment with government initiatives for sustainable progress in the wilayats. He emphasised the positive societal and economic impacts of OQ's projects, emphasising their role in enriching local tourism and social aspects.

Furthermore, H.E. Sayyid Ibrahim anticipated that OQ's initiatives would inspire other corporations to amplify their societal involvement, fostering local community support and engagement within their own investment frameworks.

Mr. Ashraf bin Hamad Al-Mamari, Chief Executive People, Technology, & Culture at OQ, echoed these sentiments. He noted, "OQ's projects embody our dedication to local communities and our alignment with the developmental vision of H.M. Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, may Allah protect him." Al-Mamari underscored OQ's intent to build robust relationships and partnerships with stakeholders, furthering Oman’s social and economic goals.

The projects within Musandam's wilayats encompass urban, environmental, and tourist-focused enhancements, forming a cornerstone of OQ's social investment programme. Al-Mamari expressed gratitude towards governmental bodies, walis' offices, municipalities, and collaborating agencies for their instrumental contributions to the successful realisation of these projects.
