North Oman Solar IPP

The North Oman Solar IPP is a 105 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project developed by OQ Alternative Energy (OQAE) and TotalEnergies. Located in the Saih Nihayda area near Qarn Al Alam, in the Wilayat of Adam, Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah, the project will supply renewable electricity to PDO’s network.

Project Status: Execution

Environmental Resources Management (ERM), in partnership with Five Oceans Environmental Services LLC (5OES), an Omani-registered company, has been appointed by the developers to prepare an International Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA B) report aligned with international standards.
